We are currently in the possession of a fully restored Bechstein grand piano. The cabinet has been painted a glossy black, and has the characteristic elegant Bechstein curve, sleek legs and a beautifully designed music stand. The grand piano still possesses its original 121-year-old fully intact ivory keytops. The soundboard has been restored and lacquered, and has been provided with a new official Bechstein logo. The cast-iron frame has been sandblasted and spraypainted in the original matt Bechstein colour. All felt has been replaced with Bechstein green felt and the mechanism has been restored to optimum condition, with a light and supple touch. The grand piano has a rich warm bass and a clear lilting treble.

A challenging and fascinating instrument, a beautiful furniture design, wonderful sound, and a timeless piece of tradition.
